Discover the joy of music with the Windsongs 1 Accelerated Course. This course is for 3rd-4th graders who don't yet read music. The W1 ACC course uses the easy to play recorder, or precorder (student's choice) to teach the musical skills of music reading and solfege. The videos show a slightly smaller version of the recorder called, precorder. The fingerings of the notes we learn are the same on both instruments.
This course goes through the book and music skills quickly and is only 1 semester long. Each full length lesson also has a short Guided Practice for the homework songs making it easy for the student and the parent!
This W1 ACC course is unique in that there is a 'send to Mrs. Jackie' solo EVERY LESSON. I love connecting to your child weekly through video chat as I encourage them and watch them progress on their musical journey.
As an option, you could start with the precorder as it is easier to learn on than the regular recorder. The precorder instrument is designed to be easy to handle and play with its raised tone holes, making it perfect for beginning students.
All homework sheets. homework stickers, solo sheets and solo stickers will be mailed (USPS) to you upon your enrollment. I will use your name and address you entered when you paid for this course.
The student will need a precorder and the Windsongs 1 book for this course.
